What is

IfNotNow?

IfNotNow is a self-described American Jewish progressive activist group that spreads misinformation about Israel, and the Arab-Israeli conflict, and has denied the connection between the Jewish people and Israel.

IfNot Now urged its followers to “stand against the Judaization of East Jerusalem”-language commonly used by antisemites to erase Jewish connection to Judaism’s holiest city.

In August 2019, 17-year-old Rina Shnerb was murdered by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Instead of holding the perpetrators of this horrific attack accountable, IfNotNow seized on the murder of an innocent civilian to blame Israel for the terrorists’ actions.

In early May 2019, Palestinian terrorists launched 600+ rockets at Israeli civilians from densely populated Gazan areas. IfNotNow falsely accused Israel of “murdering Palestinian civilians” and lamented the death of Imad Nseir, a member of Kataeb Humat al-Aqsa – a terrorist organization.

IfNotNow used white supremacist language by absurdly accusing Rep. Mark Meadows of “pandering to Jews.”

IfNotNow claims to speak for the American Jewish community. The organization engages with antisemitic groups such as American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), and in May of 2021, the group said the Mourner’s Kaddish for Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad members killed during an Israeli military operation.
